  • Welcome to the 2009 Equity Brentwood Charity Half Marathon and Fun Run. We are again fortunate to be sponsored by the Equity Insurance Group and Essex & Suffolk Water. We also receive excellent support from Brentwood Borough Council and the Brentwood Gazette.

  • There was a record entry of over 3400 runners in 2008.

  • We apologise for the delayed start last year. This was caused by an unprecedented number of entries received during the week before the event. Actions have been to taken to ensure this is not repeated

  • This popular event, organised by the Rotary Club of Brentwood à Becket, is now in its 28th year and has raised well over £800,000 for Local, National and International Charities, plus much more through runners' own sponsorship for their causes
Please Note: Postal Entries must be received by Friday 6th March 2009 and 'On-Line' Entries will close at noon on Friday 6th March 2009 to ensure all race packs can to be posted 'in time' for the event. Entries will be limited to 2250 in the Half Marathon and 750 in the Fun Run. This year there will be no facility for entry on the day of the race. Please enter early to avoid disappointment.
